Do you want to build a career in modern farming, work with the latest agricultural technology and gain real management experience?

AG Products is offering an exciting Level 4 Farm Manager Apprenticeship on a progressive, fully robotic dairy farm equipped with Lely robots. This is much more than a traditional farm role—you’ll combine hands-on experience with the opportunity to learn about technology, business management and agricultural innovation.

You’ll work towards a recognised Level 4 qualification while developing the practical skills needed to become a confident farm manager.

What will you be doing?

No two days will be the same. Your role will include:

• Supporting the day-to-day management of the dairy herd
• Using and monitoring Lely robotic systems
• Helping to manage herd health, welfare and performance
• Organising daily tasks and supporting the wider farm team
• Maintaining accurate livestock and farm records
• Learning about farm accounts, budgets and performance
• Getting involved in AG Products’ research and development projects
• Exploring new ideas to improve farm efficiency and productivity
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and animal care

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about farming and wants to build a long-term career in agriculture
• Is interested in technology and the future of dairy farming
• Is enthusiastic, reliable and ready to learn
• Enjoys working with animals
• Is happy to get stuck in and take on responsibility
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Has good communication and organisational skills
• Has some previous farming or livestock experience
